1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Glazura Tiles' website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
The company's catalogues, price list and other advertising matter shall not form any part of any contract between buyer and company. Any price quotation by the company or its agents or employees shall be deemed to be for the purpose of information only and shall not constitute an offer to sell.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on Glazura Tiles' website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- modify or copy the materials
- use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial)
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Glazura Tiles' website
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
3. Product Information and Quotations
We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing information. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
Unless otherwise stated in writing all prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue date.
Shading is an inherent quality of ceramic tiles and the buyer must order the correct quantity for its requirements as the company cannot guarantee against crazing or shade variation.
As the number of tiles per square yard and square metre is nominal the buyer will be responsible for ensuring sufficient quantity of tiles are ordered to cover the required area. We recommend that you add an additional 10% to cover waste and cuts.
Colors of products may vary due to monitor settings and photography lighting. Please check your tiles carefully before fixing. Shade variation is a design feature of most of our tiles.
4. Pricing and Payment Terms
All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and exclude VAT unless stated.
Prices may change without notice.
Payment is due at the time of collection. No credit is offered.
Goods will not be released until full payment has been received.
5. Collection and Risk
Collection Only Service: At the moment, we do not offer a delivery service. All orders are collection only from our store.
Orders are accepted and promises for collection given conditionally upon our being able to secure the necessary material, and without responsibility for delays arising through risks and uncertainties of manufacture, strike, accidents, or other causes beyond our control.
The company must be notified by e-mail or phone within 48 hours of collection of any claims by the buyer of any shortage, incorrect tiles, or damage to goods. Risk in respect of the goods passes to the buyer from the moment of collection.
In-Store Collection: When you come to collect, our team will be happy to help load your tiles into your vehicle.
Own Courier Option: If you prefer, you're welcome to arrange your own courier to collect your order on your behalf. Just let us know the details in advance so we can prepare everything for a smooth handover.
The company cannot, under any circumstances entertain any financial demands from the customer for late or incorrect collection. As a company we always recommend that you never book a tiler until you have collected and inspected the tiles.
As a company, we advise against booking a tiler before collecting and inspecting tiles to ensure they are intact and correct. The company will not be held liable for fees incurred as a result of delays to time frames.
6. Payment and Cancellation
💳 Payment
- Full payment is required before collection of your order.
❌ Order Cancellation
- If you cancel your order within 24 hours of the scheduled collection, a 10% penalty charge will apply to cover labour and preparation costs.
- Orders cancelled outside this period may be subject to other charges depending on preparation stage.
7. Returns and Refunds
1. Returns
- Request returns within 7 days of collection.
- Tiles must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
- Provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt).
- Only items that match your original order can be returned.
Cannot be returned:
- Cut, used, or damaged tiles.
- Custom or special-order tiles (unless faulty).
- Tiles that have been installed or fixed.
How to return:
- Email info@glazura.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.
- We'll confirm approval and give instructions for returning the items.
- Returns are at your own expense and risk.
Unopened, unused tiles in original packaging can be returned within 14 days of collection.
2. Refunds
- Processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect returned items.
- Refunded to the original payment method.
3. Damaged or Broken Tiles
- Notify us within 48 hours of collection.
- Provide clear photos as proof.
- We will replace or refund only the damaged tiles.
Note: We are not responsible for tiles broken during transportation arranged by the customer or after collection.
7. Product Suitability and Guarantees
The supply of goods does not mean that they are suitable for a specific installation. We can only be held responsible for any failure on products supplied by us, to the extent that the manufacturer of such products is prepared to guarantee the same. No tiles are guaranteed against crazing.
Customers are advised to purchase a sample tile prior to placing their order. This is to ensure that customers are satisfied with the tiles and any possible discrepancies that may occur due to batch differences.
Tile samples are priced from £0.99, which will come in either 10cm x 10cm or 15cm x 15cm in size. Though some bigger pieces may be charged at the cost of a full piece and sent out as such. There will not be an option on the product page for this with specific exclusive tiles. Please consult our sales support team if you require a sample.
8. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the website, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorised employees within the company on a need-to-know basis only use any information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. Parliament has created specific unauthorised actions against computer systems and data. We will investigate any such actions with a view to prosecuting and/or taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
- To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
- To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
- To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
- To submit false or misleading information
10. Limitation of Liability
In no case shall Glazura Tiles, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that any dispute or claim relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Leicester, United Kingdom. For overseas customers, any disputes will be handled in accordance with UK law.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
